The visualization of the temples of Yekaterinburg, lost after 1917

Location: Yekaterinburg.

Customer: Non-profit project of Ammonit.

Task: Based on the surviving sources, primarily pre-revolutionary photographs, using 3D visualization to recreate the appearance of temples, blown up by the Bolsheviks after the 1917 revolution. Construct 3D models of the surrounding buildings in the most approximate to the initial state. Recreate the look and atmosphere of the era. Generate interest in the history of the city, support the advocates of the restoration of churches. Work is executed in parallel with the animation architecture according temples.

Objects: Ekaterininsky Cathedral, Bogoyavlensky Cathedral, Afanasyevskaya Chapel at the Mining College, the bell tower of the Great Chrysostom.
